I support every country which plays against France :diablo: Love it when the chickens lose 😀

(Chickens because their national emblem is a chicken!)

Another awful tragedy carried out by someone who had been granted a weapons licence. There should be stricter conditions on the licences and they should be reviewed more often than they are at the moment.

What Israel did is at best an act of piratery , at worse a declaration of war . It is an unqualifiable act anyway .
Saying that the act of piratery was badly planned and executed in the worse manner is correct and shows incompetence but it is not important . What is important is the act itself .

Like the appalling act committed by your country (I see from your location that you are in France) against the Rainbow Warrior in Auckland? Innocent people were killed on that, I find that inexcusable. That happened because they objected to your country using the South Pacific as a nuclear testing ground.

So bludgeoning a 14 year old with a 3kg weight while shouting die die die is ok…
Corporal Punishment is a crock,Ive seen countless kids hit with the stick and worse,it made no difference at all ,they where back for more the day after.

If that’s the case, how come attacks on teachers and loutish behaviour in the classroom were unheard of in the days when corporal punishment was widely carried out?

I went to two secondary schools, the first one had no corporal punishment and it was absolute hell, with teachers cheeked, attacked and kids in fear of being knifed. The second one had corporal punishment and it was a different world, kids behaved, there was no yobbish behaviour and you felt safe in school.

All we hear now is that it’s against the yobs “human” rights to be punished, shouted at etc. Those parents who allow their brats to be out of control should be prosecuted for the misery it causes to others. If people don’t like that, or think I’m harsh, then that’s just tough.

If BMI change anything, it should be their caterers. Their inflight sandwiches are awful. I’ve had sandwiches on several airlines – BA, BD, Sabena, VLM, SN Brussels – and the BD ones are by far the worst.

I do prefer the name British Midland, BMI doesn’t really mean anything. I also preffered the livery they had prior to those weird patches they have now.

Yes, it was right, he should not have been on trial in the first place. Those on trial should be the parents of those out of control louts who make everyone’s lives hell. If the brat had been brought up properly and disciplined and taught respect, this would most likely never have happened.

There is nothing wrong with corporal punishment, it works and standards have plummeted since it was abolished in favour of giving kids all the rights without any responsibilities.

I can tolerate Lille and Dunkerque, but find Paris the most over rated dump on the planet. I once had the misfortune to see the state of public toilets in this “chic”, “sophisticated” and “elegant” city – you could not flush paper down, so it had to be put into a bucket at the side of the toilet (the bucket was rarely emptied by the way). The presence of all that used toilet paper gave the place an unforgettable aroma and I was not very happy at having to pay for the dubious privilege of being unfortunate enough to have to subject myself to such a health hazard, the worst toilets I have seen in the developed world.

Our hotel room was crawling with ants.

The plumbing did not work properly.

The streets of Paris stank of dog sh*t.

All in all, I think France is over rated. I much prefer Belgium.

I get sick of having trips to museums ruined by groups of badly behaved, ill mannered brats. Many museums I have been to have been infested with screaming, out of control kids, and now with many seemingly being aimed more and more at the little brats, the problem will only get worse.

Not everyone who visits a museum wants to be caught up among screaming kids.

    Not everyone likes kids.

I work in a museum and I know just how bad those parties of brats can be. I am thinking of suggesting adults only days at our museum to cater for those who do not like their leisure time to be spent in the company of riotous hordes.
