I prefer the Brussels Airlines “Tintin” plane 🙂
Andreas Lubitz can presumably be described as a mass murderer. The aircraft impacted at 700kph.
I wouldn’t have thought there would be any doubt that the thing was a mass murderer – deliberately crashing an aircraft with 150 people on board must surely count as murder.
The Dresden raid is no worse than the attacks on Britain. Those who bleat on about Dresden never condemn the attacks on our cities, or the “Baedecker Raids” on our historic towns years before bloody Dresden.
I don’t care about Dresden.
I refuse to be made to feel guilty over Dresden.
I refuse to condemn Dresden as a “war crime” or a “crime against humanity”.
Happy New Year – and for me it is going to be a great start to 2015 because I was offered a job today 😀
Happy CHRISTMAS
Happy CHRISTMAS (I refuse to use the word “holiday” when talking about 25th December). (And if you look over on Luchtzak, I am the person who answered your post on there too).
Love the Brussels Airlines OO-SSC ‘Star Alliance’ photo. I flew on holiday on that aircraft MAN-BRU on 1st September.
I was just wondering if ANY members of this forum are female?
(at least the modern military aviation forum)
Yes, I can assure you they are (I speak from my own personal knowledge as I am female!)
Thanks for the comments. I was pleased to be able to see the display, earlier in the week the weather forecasts had been bad and I thought I might end up missing it but on the day it turned out well. I filmed the video from Scarborough Castle – probably the best vantage point for seeing the flying displays. We also had the BBMF but I missed that one as I was still on my way to Scarborough Castle when they flew past. I hope the Vulcan displays again next year, I’d forgotten how great those engines sound, and how brilliant it is to see flying. It also did a short display at Filey before arriving, and then flew off in the direction of Whitby.

Belgium ? Where’s that ? What is it ?
You need some geography lessons.
Belgium is the team which, unlike England, won their first two games in the group stages and qualified for the knockout stage of the tournament.
Instead of always blaming dog owners, some parents should educate their brats on how to behave around dogs. For example, parents should teach their brats that dogs are not playthings, dogs should not be grabbed from behind, dogs should not have their tails and ears pulled, dogs should not be jumped on, dogs should not have sticks waved in their faces. Every time a kid is bitten by a dog the owner gets the blame, but when you look into what caused the dog to bite you often hear that they have been teased by the brat while the parents looked on.
As a Belgium supporter I couldn’t give a toss about England, except to say I hope they have a quick exit.
I don’t bother with TV as it is mostly rubbish. I have a DVD collection of favourite programmes which I watch every night. My absolute favourite is ‘Secret Army’ but at the moment I’m watching the ‘Walking With…’ Programmes. I started with ‘Monsters’ and finished watching ‘Dinosaurs’ last night and tonight I’m watching ‘Beasts’.
Great photos. I preferred the “CityJet” Fokker 50s when they had VLM livery and VLM service though.
I saw FSX on Amazon for a good price, and now it’s installed on my computer. It seems fine so far, no crashes or other problems I’ve read about. I’m just happy to have FS again, now I need to get more planes and scenery.
I haven’t watched any of the broadcasts, I won’t be voting in the EU elections as there are no political parties that I agree with. The BNP broadcasts that I have seen before have always been crap.
