Yeh hopefully it should stay nice and warm up here for you 🙂
I hope so 😀 NCL tends to have similar weather to Scarborough from the photos I’ve seen on here, so if it’s nice when we leave Scarborough it should be nice in Newcastle.
When we were at NCL there was stuff I had never had chance to photograph, such as easyJet, and it was a case of getting them through the rain. There was a BritishJet as well but that is spoilt by rain.
The only slightly redeeming feature was that some of the reflections in the puddles looked effective.
And if we get good weather we might be able to see if we fly near or over Scarborough. We do get loads of traffic over here but it’s impossible to tell what.
The only successful spotting I had this year was BRU on 2nd April – a superb day and my first chance to bag the Biman DC10 as a still photo (I already had it on video).
I must have hit NCL on the worst weekend of the year for weather – when we arrived at the airport on the Thursday it was cloudy and raining. On the Friday it was heaving and when we arrived back from Brussels on the Sunday it was raining again.
I hope the weather will be better in September because I won’t get much spotting done in December.
On a spot in Brussels near 25L with a gang from Airliners.net/Luchtzak, we got moved on by the police as they thought we were targeting the fuel tanks or helping illegal immigrants escape from the neaby detention centre 😡
The spot wasn’t totally ruined, as I did get some good footage, but it could have been.
i think most haunted is fantastic… i dont like the live ones much, they can be a bit boring.. i think some members of the team are the most brave people i have ever seen…. would i walk around a known haunted castle in the middle of the night in the pitch dark.. ALONE………. not for a million quid… 😮 😮 😮 😮 😮 😮 😮
What’s the problem? You don’t just get ghosts at night, believe me.

I’m used to ghosts and things, I lived alongside them for long enough before we moved out of what must have been the most haunted place in Scarborough (this same house is often up for sale and no one stayed in as long as we did).
We had a ghost dog, unexplained footsteps on the stairs, drawers being opened, hands and even a ghost kid.

You are right, Islam is not a race, that is why people who criticise Islam should not be tried in court on jumped-up “race hate” charges (strange how Muslims can call for terror attacks, for “non believers” to be killed etc without fear of prosecution).
But this is religious discrimination.
And yes, there are instances where job adverts specify particular race requirements. Many employers go on what race you say you are when you fill in an application form. People have been denied access to jobs purely for being white (especially in some police forces).

is that like orvaltine??? stella rules, but if i can’t have that its becks, theakstons, speckled hen, spitfire (obviously), snakebite, etc. etc.
never tried adnams, but everyone seems to enjoy it so thats my new mission in life!!!!! 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
Have you ever had a Stella (I mean the real one brewed in Leuven not the “brewed under licence in Luton” ****e which is sold as “Stella” over here).
And in answer to an earlier post – there is no such beer as “Leffe Blanc” – there is Leffe Brune, Leffe Blonde, Leffe Tripel, Leffe Radieuse, Leffe Vieille Cuvee and Leffe 9.

Sloeber. I like my beer a little stronger than the usual 5% ABV water 😀
Bush (12%ABV) and Rochefort 10 (11.5%ABV) are damned good beers. But then again there is only one Belgian beer that I detest and that’s Orval.

If criminals were topped the prison population would be even smaller, as many are in for repeat offending.
I don’t believe in this community sentencing crap, many of those given these sort of sentences never bother to turn up for their “rehabilitation”.
Singapore has the best idea on dealing with drug crime. And any crime come to that (and I can hear the howls of protest from the Amnesty International lovers!)
