We’ve had it every day for the past few days here in Scarborough.

Thanks for the answers. I hope we don’t get too held up, we have to catch another flight three hours after we arrive at LHR :p

It is certainly the most roundabout way I’ve ever gone from MAN to BRU 😀

Individual ones, though as a type I am not a big 737 fan:

    OO-SDX
    OO-SYG
    TF-FIA
    TF-FIB

    The worst:

    TF-FIC

From the late, great Sabena “ladies and gentlemen, when we crash into the sea, be sure to watch for the sharks”. I know that was said for definite because it was on my first ever Sabena flight.

    Never had that on SNBA.

A typical violent over-reaction from a religion that is supposed to be one of tolerance and peace – hypocracy or what. Extremists are using Islam as an excuse and it is about time that the leaders of the religion condem those who stir up violence towards the ‘west’. The violent protests shown only reinforce people’s perception of Islam as a religion of hatred and intolerance.

Muslims in the west enjoy much more freedom (than say a christian in Saudi) yet some repay our tolerance by recruiting people for suicide missions. In fact as a minority religion we seem to do more to help them than we do the majority religions. If muslims do not want to live in a society where such freedoms exist then they are welcome to leave.

If people are offended then tough – I am offended by suicide bombers / terrorist acts but do not go round burning flags / making death threats etc.

My views exactly. Hatred of Islam is incited by the actions of Muslims themselves, and the fact that some will openly praise terrorists as “heroes” and “martyrs” does nothing to improve the image of the religion.

They cannot turn round and wonder why people have such a negative opinion of their religion when they are shown dancing in the streets in response to planes being flown into skyscrapers, or buses and trains being blown up.

I feel sorry for the villagers who will lose their homes, I think that military airfields which have been closed down should be converted into passenger use, like Finningley was. At least that way there is extra capacity for increasing air traffic and no one loses their homes.

Love the BA Dash 8 and the Qatar photos! Nice to see my favourite tail logo in there 😀

Nice shots, the Delta one is particularly effective I think.

I don’t like the new BA Connect colours, I preferred to see them all in proper BA livery. We will end up with BA Connect in December one way from BRU, I don’t like the idea of it at all.

Great to see the 154, I hope that’s there when I’m in NCL.

And nice to see another old mate of mine from last March 😀

If I could create my own real life airline it would be called Sabena and based in Brussels.

Memorable flights – Reykjavik to Isafjordur and return in a Fokker 50 – most dramatic approach and climb away I ever remember.

Heathrow to Los Angeles on Air New Zealand 747-400, going and sitting on the fligth deck as we flew over the mountains. All the more special because the economy class passengers weren’t allowed to look through the windows for the entire 10 and a half hour flight 😡

Manchester to Brussels in an ARJ of Sabena – my first ever flight with this incomparable carrier.

Birmingham to Brussels on SNBA, my first ever flight with SNBA was memorable because we had a friendly steward who got me the best seat for taking photos and was pointing things out as we flew over towards Belgium. Plus he gave me extra chocolate 😀

Antwerp to London City on VLM – that LCY approach is truly superb!

My other dog had to be terminated(bad word but dont know the proper one) this summer after his stomage strangely swolled into huge and he could barely move and eat. No one knew why it happened and what coused it but it was a week of very painfull suffering for him and we decided to let him go…he was 8 years old and was around trough the latter part of my childhood so it was kinda severe blow…
People rarely understand how deeply you can become touched whit your pets inspite Im not any animal lover…in fact i generally dislike them

So my sympaties are whit you comet 🙁 But yuo’ll get over it…

Thank you Gollevainen. The term you are looking for is “euthanased” or “put to sleep”. It sounds like your dog had a bloat, that is very nasty.

We still have the cat, so the flat doesn’t seem as empty but we won’t be able to have another dog.
