I don’t know about an EasyJet virtual, I looked once and didn’t really find anything good. I joined Go Virtual, where you can choose your routes, fly the 737, and also fly for other VAs too like Flybe, Excel. Unlike Luxair you don’t have to book your routes and having the choice of several VAs means you get to fly a few different types.

http://go.sta-virtual.net/ is the address of Go Virtual

I read a Dale Brown book a few years ago.

From what I remember of it, it was a great read.

    Comet.

I too can reccomend Angels and Demons. Thought it better than the Da Vinci Code. If you can, get hold of the illustrated hardback version. I think it’s only £20 unless you can still find it in a well known supermarket beginning with A where it was less than a tenner.

Thanks Kev. Most (if not all) of my books come from Waterstones with their 3 for 2 offers, though I’m always willing to shop around.

I enjoy the medical thrillers by Robin Cook. I’ve got “Coma” (another 10 out of 10) and have borrowed others from the local library. For anyone who is interested in medicine and likes a thriller too, they are highly recommended. Written by a doctor means that all the facts are spot on!

If you liked that, try Angels & Demons by the same author. It’s set before the events in Code and is just as good, in my opinion.

Thanks, I’ll get that one next.

Another book I read recently and enjoyed was “The Unknown Soldier” by Gerald Seymour. I found it a pacey read, and some good characters, especially the intelligence officer based in Saudi! I give it 9/10 because the ending was left in the air, and that spoiled an otherwise brilliant read.

At the moment I’m reading “The Da Vinci Code” – fast moving, interesting read.

“Watership Down” is also a favourite – a masterpiece, quite simply. I give that 10/10.

I have read many books, too many to mention here. One really bad one which sticks in my mind is “The Wild Road” by Gabriel King.

This is one of the vilest, grimest, most depressing books I have ever attempted to read. I hated it so much I didn’t even bother to finish it and read something more cheerful instead. I give this -10/10!!

I was shocked when I read the news about Steve. Most of my forum discussions with him were about Belgium or Belgian beer, over in General Discussion. He always seemed a down to earth, regular kind of guy when I read his posts in the forums, and he will be missed.

Condolences to Steve’s family and his many friends.

Terrible, sad, shocking. My thoughts are with Steve’s family and friends. Tragic.

I live in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. For those who don’t know, this is on the north east coast of England.
