So it’s ok for India to buy 40-60 SU-33s and 40 Mirage 2000s and 40 MIG-29s plus 60 naval MIG-29s, but if Pak wants another 24 F-16s its the end of the world?! Grow up!!! IF Pak and India EVER duked it out again, India would CRUSH Pakistan! By the way, we offering India F-16s as well. Also F-18E/Fs…….

i have few point to say

f-16 and f-18 old by US standerd.
what about spares was not US used this option to put presure on country
it happend in after 98 nuclear expolsion when sea harrier and sea king is grounded duo spare part denied by US.
Us has tendency to support his old alies pak.
it is better to buy from third country than US.
grow guy US never leave his partner in crime pak.

ka 31 is ok by indian standerd.
e-2c is bulker plane to oprate from gorshkov. 😎

more f-16 pak only moregive weight to my point

Could India afford these ships? If they do…I’m sure they could do what the French do, and send their naval pilots to the US for training…….Would like to see them with a somewhat better airframe than the MIG-29……..(how hard would it be to “navalize” the JAS-39?) Any more news on the poss purchase of E-2Cs? Really do hope India builds its own carriers…..

forget any made in usa air craft.
supplying f-16 to pak is final nail in coffin of US effort to contest for selling aircraft. 😮
india has better world class training facilty for pilots. only loop hole is pluged by hawk. 😀

on for e-2c india has ka 31 helicopter for same work.
    :diablo:

aircraft carrier is on his path.same view given when india unveil a plan to bulid lca :dev2: 😀 :dev2:

Besides the fact the Indians really have other problems to solve …
To maintain a meaningful offensive carrier force you need at least five carriers, with one in maintenance, one for training, and three for operations.

in my view india can work with four carrier i think you know that sea harrier can be flown from flight deck meant for helicopter or merchant ship that what indian navy did in 1999s kargil war when ins viraat docked in for overhaul.
and it is the only air craft which very old and has tendency to give problam.

    how much a.carriers india need

Hey brothers did you thing that two-air defense ship [carrier] is enough for India.

In my view India should go for at least four aircraft carriers

    One 4 Arab sea [Pakistan]
One 4 Bay of Bengal. [China, Indonesia. Malaysia and any other country who could support Pakistan]
One 4 India Ocean [read USA (Diego Garcia)] better prepare for sheep skin cover fox.
And final one is as blue water carrier or backup ship incase of multiple attack from

I know it is little too much looking at the policy of government.
But that is the right thing India should do in first.
    😎 😎

    you ? is here

the status/performance of Indian missiles is very much in doubt, especially after the Chief of DRDO’s (former) interview (in 2004) where he stated that nuclear delvery systems not ready :

An earlier interview with Bharat Krnad also offered the same idea.

“We are great at fooling ourselves”

    Anyways, back to topic now.

The Shaheen-II would appear to represent the Chinese M-18, although it is questionable whether Pakistan has actually obtained these missiles from China. There was no indication that China had transferred such missiles to Pakistan.

it is open secret that where this missille came from.
