I think aircarft carrier is more of a weapon against third world countries in a modern warfare. Like US vs Iraq(no saturated missile attack,no submarine,no….) China indeed need a carrier for political leveraging against some future hostile third world countries.If fighting against major power,Carrier will defintely be vulnerable.But I can’t imagine a China vs US scenario with such huge trade between them. A Varyag in China inventory will be nice…
