J-10 Models!!! For those who requested them.
I hate they colour in this scheme.I like the light blue camouflage!
Here’s an interesting rumor:
An export version of the JH-7A, the FBC-1W, flew successfully on March 2.
The FBC-1W supposedly includes more than 40 design changes according to requests from a particular South American customer(?!!)
Last October, China and this unnamed country signed a contract for co-production of dozens of aircrar with the total amount surpassing 2 billion US dollars. The country is question could possibly be Argentina.
Again, heavy rumor department.
Where is the source of the rumour?
MA,
I asked a specific question – What are the possible reasons for a larger intake at this late stage and could an engine change be the reason. If you want to avoid that question, fine. Different engines require different intakes and it is one good reason I feel.
Boota came in and said some BS instead of answering the question.
Kunlun II engine? Yes,good. All will be Chinese and Pakistan stuffs!
Where did you hear this? It would be quite a task for us to begin manufacturing aircraft engines.
Aziz
I think I seen it on Kanwa! They may provide the blueprint and even assist setting up the production line to China first before China transfer the thing to Pakistan so as to prevent incuring wrath from India. In the end, manufacturing the aircraft engines will be easier. As someone say,if they r not sure abt the engines, they wouldn’t release the official news abt inauguration of the JF-17 next year.
Doesn’t seem to be a problem – whatever it is. If there was genuinely a problem with the engine I wouldn’t have expected them to inaugurate the production facility.
So my guess-RD-93? So far all JF-17 prototypes r test with RD-33 and RD-93.I would not expect them to take a risk and go for the Chinese Kunlun II without further testing. That will mean longer inauguration time for PAF which they could not afford. I heard Russian has no problem transfering the production of RD-93 line to Pakistan.
That J-10 picture brings up a few interesting points:
1. there are fuselage pylons.
2. shows us where the PL-11 and PL-12 picture we earlier came from
3. it looks like it was on display for a dignitary or even buyerNice find on the new Y-8 platform. You could clearly in this picture that the loading ramp is no longer there.
I think Y-8 F600 is used for the AWACS.
What is the engine going to be use?
Nice CG of Chinese anti-ship missile
A new one, just hot from factory?
If you think that is beautiful, what about this.
I think this photo is taken few yrs ago but that time they only show the Su-30MKK. Nobody knows a J-10 is actually beside it!
Could be rumoued WS10A? Why in different color?
I believe is because of the different thrust.
