Something strange abt the airbase!

Looks like Austria seeks ways to reduce the costs of their Eurofighters.
Rumor has it, that they want to leave out the IFF, the RWR and the provisions to launch anything more than a AIM-9. Oh how that does not suprise me!

China is negotiating with Russia and Uzbekistan for a large batch of Il-76s. Some of these additional Il-76s may be for the KJ-2000 AWACS program.

There is a rumor that the KJ-2000 AWACS has an AESA radar, but this has not been confirmed.

But there is another AWACS base on Y-8 airlift.I believe they may be 2 types of AWACS contesting for PLAAF bid.I suspect KJ-2000 may be a v ambition AWACS attempt by the PLAAF while Y-8 based AWACS is a backup in case KJ-2000 may prove to difficult to achieve and they will fall back to the achieveable Y-8 base AWACS.

Japan fleet possess v good air defence capabilites and anti-sub! Their SSK shall be not bad.Actually what they lack is the lethal punch(V offensive SSM with 300 km anti warship missile and SSN).As what the previous 2 say being slaughter by the USN but USN must pay the price with a consider number of sub,warship and Naval strike aircraft lost.
