Well this isn’t tempting me to go to Legends. Any one already considered the thought that only the pilots will come, and perform in UK based Mustangs?
Why of all the choices it will be the trio of Mustangs?
Hi Roger
Yes, thats an FN4. Is that Brussels by any chance?
Hi Elliott,
Yes, so it is known one? Thought I had discovered something? Any clue which one it is/was?
BW Roger
To answer my own question, it sure looks like it. Didn’t know such a çhunk’of Whitley still survived.

That Centaurus is from the Dutch Military Air museum. It once was attached to Fokker buildt Sea Fury 6-18. Last time I saw it was in 2005 at the open depot days at Soesterberg.
It belonged to the Fokker Heritage Trust, who sold it to TFC in October.
Perhaps, if it still exists, a piece of the wreckage of the Heinkel could be recovered and displayed at, say, Old Warden to commemorate this talented man?
It would be very poignant, surrounded by pictures of his marvellous displays – or is this just me being a sad romantic?
Anon.
As far as I know, major wreckparts are still lingering at the (remote and difficult to reach) site.

Sounds like antropomorfism to me, a feeling most crews had/have towards their flying/driving/floating (war)machines:D
Is it the Halifaxcockpit that is pictured in FlyPast?
I noticed several people using the Canon 28-300L. That would suit a spotter quite well from ramp-access wide-angle shots to final approach zoom shots.
Just bought one of those, so far very happy with it. Hasn’t been from my 5D2 since I got it around 6 weeks ago.

I’ll be there. If you want I can show you the Grumman TBM hanging from the ceiling:diablo:
I think Sony is now in the top 3 with Canon and Nikon. They are very good, as is their 70-400. If I had to choose between (an entry level) Nikon and Sony, I should go for Sony.
BW Roger
I would absolutely love to see one running, however this is a close as you can get to the real thing running today!!

I don’t reveal anything more than these lines, but with some luck, in a few years time in Holland, you might be in for something special.
Yes, plenty but patience………..;)
EHVB knows…

Yes, the world is going to see it soon. Untill then………….
Hi
I never realised they allowed the use of the tail swastika in France.
Odd, as I seem to remember the model kits I bought in France, all had them removed from the decal sheet.
Cheers
Jerry
Apart from Germany, where it isn’t allowed, no other country in Europe has any problems. let alone a law that forbids it, with the swastika on the tail.

Without doubt it looks nice, however I also have to conclude that a rather rare COD version of the TBM is now no longer there. The same can be said for the last TBM 3W2that was also lost during its restauration. A decade or 3 ago, there was hardly a TBM with a turret, but now almost all have been given one, and the TBM COD or TBM-3S versions are almost all gone.
But, as said, I like the livery it now has.
