Since the last 15 years or so, I live 2 to 3 months a year at 40 km from Barcelona, but on aviation related things there is almost nothing to do, so what’s the reason to go there in June??? BW Roger

Taken with a 17-35 lens strapped to one of the struts of EC-AIS, the Auster (owned by Clemente Ros) in which I made many flights in the Madrid Aerea. BW Roger

I understood that severall were lost (in this direction) in the first year of the War. On the other hand, maybe it was a Belgium Battle which found a sea grave? BW Roger

Often those Piachio P149ns are referred too as Fw’s, as are those 1/2 scale ones. Maybe it was one of those if there ever was something down. The location was wrong also, as the Flugwerk ones are located at Manching near Munich, while Hockenheim is in a different part of Germany, and I don’t believe that they should fly that large a distance on one of the first flights. I understand from their site that the aircraft is/are now certified, so let’s hope they will be welcomed in the show circuit this year. BW Roger

Just checked the German “Flugzeugforum” (http://www.flugzeugforum.de the German version of this forum, but a lot bigger) and there was nothing. So I am quite sure that it is a false alarm. BW Roger

No, you are not (talking a load of old rubbish)! The remains of one of the machines are surviving (or at least it was some 8 years ago). Hidden since the late Fifties. BW Roger

Yeah, that realy would be a great sight. Wouldn’t mind a Spanish Spitfire either (yes, they had 1 and it only made 1 flight but it was a hell of a good looker). BW Roger

Wouldn’t mind to see a captured Luftwaffe Spitfire in the airshow circuit. Guess I am the only one, or not?:D

No. haven’t seen it. Going to buy one of those very soon. Understand they are on sale now (in the UK, not here in Holland). Wanted to buy the weathered one, but now I might go for a “fresh” looking one. BW Roger

I like the dirty look of it. It’s quite convincing, most visitors don’t see the difference anyhow. BW Roger
