Hi Kenneth,
After WW2 it wore an I , EC, CN and F registration. It ended up in the “woods” of La ferte Alais. After many years of outdoor storage, it was obtained by the Noorduyn Foundation in Holland, and brought to Holland last month.
It is/was the F-AZBN, the German registration is made out of black ducktape over the French registration. Don’t know why.

A restoration project, hopefully it will fly one day, the huge Noorduyn Noorseman
Ka8 & Rhonlerche ( I took my flying lessons in this machine, the PH-375, in 1981)
Grunau Baby
Thanks for the info. In the new Aviodrome musum here, a J/3 is hanging from the ceiling with a “Baby in tug”. I was wondering if this was right. That’s why I posted the pic. Bw Roger
If that is Goa in India, then there is a Naval Air Museum which includes some fighters and a super rare Indian Navy Super Constellation.
While on the beach I’ll guess you can watch some interesting aircraft coming in. Am I right that the Indian IL-38’s and Bear’s are based here?

I was asked by a friend, who has both models , who knew that I use this forum, why one is so much lighter than the other. That’s all. He told me that the colours on his 1/72 scale Lancaster Corgi’s
are the same as on his Corgi 1/144 (RAF camouflaged) Lancasters. The Coastel Command machine is the same one, with the same codes and all, only the scale is different. Put them next to each other, and they look like 2 different machines. One should imagine that Corgi uses the same paint on both this 1;72 and 1/144 scale machines, but obviously this isn’t.
I am only a bystander in this, have never seen the models myself, so, as said, I was only asked to bring his uestion. As far as I am concerned, the discussion is over.
Thanks. Roger
I have absolutely no interest in any models, being it Corgi’s or other ones. Just asking why the 1/72 model is so different from the 1/144 one in colours.
AS you can see, a lot of work has to be done. BW Roger
It was a secret David, it arrived some weeks ago. It will be fully restored, and maybe one day will even be flying. You want to see a pic of it? BW Roger
There are plans to repaint it into 322 RAF livery:mad: 😡 😡

Forgot to post this one, their Spit being chased by a V-1 😀
For the time being, (ex) G-AMCA will remain outside. Bw Roger
