Can’t wait untill the “Red Bull” DC-6 is overhauled in Austria. It is certified for passengerflights, and so far I haven’t flown in a DC6. Took this one in Lelystad 2 weeks ago. BW Roger
All my camera settings are in the neutral position. Things as (un)sharpening and contrast I do in PSP or PS or, the most easy of them all, in Irfanview. Many digital users here (Holland) are very happy with Breesebrowser. Haven’t used it, but maybe I shall give it a try.
For static shots, my AF is in one shot, otherwise in servo. I am not unhappy with the AF of the camera, but compared with my Eos 1V slide camera, it is very basic.
Don’t think using the camera is a big problem. Biggest problem is to understand Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro or Breesebrowser. As long as one can not handle the software part of digital photography, one can not get the full use of the camera. That’s my problem, the photography parts is peanuts for me, but understanding and working with the sofware is what I don’t understand at the moment. BW Roger
All my slides will end up in a large Dutch aviation museum, and they were very happy to hear this. Maybe there is a museum that is happy to receive yours too. BW Roger
Another one, this time with 28 mm. BW Roger
There is a window in the back that can be opened. I strapped my camera with a 17 mm wideangle to my wrist, stretched my arm as far out as posible, and shoot forward. That’s all. BW Roger
Do a search for lets say the last 30 days or so. I am sure some messages will be found this way. I couldn’t find mine either because I only looked at “today”, when I looked for the last 7 days I found them. BW Roger
I should buy three TBM’s. One I should make an all orange/red Hemet valley borate bomber, the other a TBM3W2 radar platform in Dutch Navy colours, and the last one should become a Japanese Navy example. Bw Roger
You won’t regret it, great colours:D

Have you already tried some nightshots? I used it on 800 and 1600 iso at AMS, great results. can’t show them yet as I have some problems with my cardreader. BW Roger
” I feel like celibrating”
Be prepared for the one major vice that comes with a dslr. In a few days or weeks, you start to see strange spots and dustspecs on your prints, which means one thing;
It is time for sensor cleaning 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
A blower won’t help and cleaning the sensor is utter hell as with some bad luck you add more dust than that you remove.
My 10D have them already, so I am afraid I have to go cleaning myself

I’ll guess you understand now what a difference a digital slr makes. Once you got one, you start making photographs you never could have imaged. BW Roger
Sorry, but I think the new colours are horrible, and guess what, a lot of KLM people think the same. It isn’t that bad looking on a 737, but on a 747!
To make things worse, I have one over my head (on good days) every 2 to 4 minutes. I am now photographing as much KLM machines in the old livery as possible.

Last one. BW Roger
