Thanks for the info everybody. This weekend they start with cleaning and repairing the vehicle. Then, in a few weeks time it is hopefully time for repainting. Don’t know if we can get it “on the move” again. Looks like some parts aren’t there. I’ll mail a photo next week. BW Roger
I’ll be there. What can I expect tomorrow evening/night?

There are a lot of “Old boys” in Holland too. In Spain the situation is better. As a “stranger” I was intigrated in the “scene” without any problems. Something I can forget in my own country (and if they read this my chanches are dropping even faster). BW Roger
One of a batch of 40 MiG 25’s and SU-25’s found burried in the desert. BW Roger
I think the Viking had larger windows than the Viscount. I have the windowframe of a Super Connie at home, and that is also very large. Doubt the Viscount ones are bigger. BW Roger

No, not visible in preview, but you can look if there is something in the attachfile. BW Roger
Not a funny shot, but a shot that went totally wrong during scanning. For some reasons it looked very artistic, so I kept it. BW Roger
They do that from their website/space or so. For “normal” people this is almost inpossible, so unless you know this technique (I don’t), you have to post them one by one. BW Roger
No, the answer is on the nose! It is a French model. BW Roger
After typing your text, you scroll down on that same page. You go to attach file, and hit the blue field. Now you can look at your harddisk and search for the pic. Then you open de pic, it is loaded in the message, and you submit your message. It must be smaller than 100 kb. BW Roger
Another one I shot from a large distance. In this one you could make joyflights for about 10 p.st. Bw Roger
None survived in one piece. Much was scrapped, and almost nothing preserved. Large parts of the B24 are on show in the USAF Museum and the Military Aviation Museum in Hollands. A more or less complete P47 that was raised some years ago ended up in a museum in Germany, as did the remains of a JU-88.BW Roger
The last time I was at marana, now some 9 years ago, the machine was standing in the desert. All engines gone, aswell as other parts. I doubt it is still surviving as it was already more or less derelict then. It was in orange colours, and was Mexican registrated. BW Roger
I’ll do my best! BW Roger
