Can’t help it, since 1977 I made 93 round trips with IB without a major problem. BW Roger

I found out the hard way that a high temperature is making the pictures look too dark on the small screen on the back of the camera. At the RSA Rally in France 2 weeks ago, the skies turned almost dark blue. Thought I had a camera malfunction (it was on my digital eos-1N) and delated most of them on the spot. Later at home, it turned out that all the shots were good, and the ones I took to replace the dark ones were much too licht. Didn’t check my histograms however. Should have done that in stead of relying on my small screen. BW Roger

Going to fly with them for the first time this saturday. Flight from Eindhoven to Stansted, and back the following day. Just to visit the FlyPast Fly-in at North Weald this weekend. BW Roger

Do you mean white balance or RGB? My WB is on 5200, while I shoot in Adobe RGB. At the moment I shoot nothing as my 10D boke down after 360 or so shots, and it is already 2 weeks with Canon for repair. It realy isn’t that inportant as i work in RAW only, so I can chanche everything later. Don’t know if this is what you ment. BW Roger

Both the 144 and Concorde, aswell as the AN-22 and 747 at Speyer, can be inspected from the inside. It is jus.6t a steep climb. Most aircraft in these two musea can be inspected from inside. BW Roger

It will be nose to nose to the 114 (which I like more than the Concorde to be honest). Bw Roger

Yes, it is the “B” that now is in Germany. Made my only Concorde flight in this example. 2 hrs airborne time on a joyflight from AMS to CDG with in between a diversion over the sea to go MACH 2. It was my fastest flight ever. It was in april 1994, and the price was around 350 PSt. All seats were sold but there was one “no show”. The organisation gave me his seat for free in exchanche for some presscoverage of the event in a Dutch magazine 😀 😀

Have a look at Dutch-Spotters in Yahoo-Groups. they give an ETA of 13.00 and a ETD of 4 hours later. If you give me your email, I can sent the message to you. You can also check http://www.aviatsiya.ru BW Roger

Doug Arnolds “Avenger”, that one hurts! I tried everything to get it back to Holland, but nobody was interested as they all thought it was too ugly to preserve it here. Now they all regret it. Have seen it severall times in Florida, but it isn’t a 3w2 anymore, so , even it is the last surviving Dutch Avenger, it has lost its apeal to me. Anyone has a picture of it , eather at strathallen or Blackbush.

Another thing, I started this thread because I was told that some of the collections aircraft were stored overseas. To be more precise, I am looking into the fact that according to some, there are containers with aircraft stored in Holland. I don’t need a confirmation, but is it possible that these airframes are in Holland ???
