Just in case you might visit Blue creek in Belize, can you check out if that Super Constellation there is still around? For years it has been in use as a chicken coop, but I have never seen pics of it. BW Roger
A semi derelict but basicly complete German WW2 machine survives in Holland. Has been there since 1945. Owner don’t give anybody permission to view and won’t sell. His children however know the value and want to sell. So, it will emerge in due time as the owner is allready well in his 80ties. BW Roger
Thanks David, another confirmation. What was the exact story? Were there 11 in India and did WOGB obtained 6 of them, or did they obtain them all? In that case, why were there only 6 exported, and why did the remaining 5 stayed in India and were possible destroyed (and where are those 6 now). Another mystery, when they were destroyed, why in hell should somebody do that?
Talking about India, how is the situation on that ME-109? Is it “underway” , is in inpounded or is it just “gone”?
BW Roger
Oke, but I always take everybody seriously. BW Roger

And so what. If he wins 10 times, what has that do do with you, Are you better because he wins. Is he winning because he is an American or is he winning because he is a cyclist? YSB

No, Eddie Mercx, didn’t win 5 in a row. But Eddie Mercx won everything for several years. He didn’t “just do” one in a year (only the Tour) like Armstrong is doing. Mercx was there in every one, from March till October, that’s the difference and thats why Armstrong can’t stand in the shadow of the others. A one trick pony, thats all he is.

I have PSP 7.0 , PS 6.0 and PSE 2.0.
Strange as it is, I never print a photo or slide (not one aviation pic is hanging from my walls). My slides are in slideholders and that’s it. I do a lot of work for the mags, which means I either sent in the slides, or now the CD with the pics. Isn’t it wiser for me, at the moment, to just burn the RAW material or TIFs on a CD and sent it to the mags where the profs can use their PS technics on it than that I go playing myseld with RGBs and sharpenning? Unconfirmed reports stated that 5 of the 11 Tempests were buldozered and buried. Strange story but who nows. BW Roger
Wasn’t Doug Arnold involved in bringing a lot of Hawker Tempest II’s out of India? I remember a story that he obtained 11 of those, but only half of these realy arrived in the “West” and the fate of the rest????? Some even say they were destroyed so that others couldn’t buy them. Another mystery, at least for me is the fate of Spitfire NH238. Is this one of Notrth Weald’s “Container Spits”? BW Roger
Thanks Damien and Gareth. How is that working? I have to open the photo in Spotkiller or so? Stupid question without doubt but I am a digital newcomer (after shooting slides since 1975) and I am always strugling with the computer.
Is there other “helpfull” software that you guys recomended?
BW Roger
262 , T-33

Damien, which software program is that? I was at Canon CPS to bring my “wounded” 10D and they said that the best results could be get with “firstphase” software. It can be downloaded for a 1 month try. You know that? BW Roger
