Well i did manage to get along after abit of trouble bus wise but that was my fault.
Wasnt to bad in the end after my fears of all day rain.
with regards to the forum meet i got caught up at a stall but was only a few minutes late. Waited around but nothing materialised. Managed to catch up with some old friends tho.
Maybe legends? 😀
cheers all
Such forum meetings are often ‘arranged’ and almost always unravel, because people won’t/can’t decide on a positive signal of identification.
Thus people mill around, mixed up with ‘normal’ spectators and look about a bit furtively, but reluctant to say hello to strangers and risk looking like a fool.
The appointed time passes, people drift away again and wonder why the meeting never happened.Get someone to carry a bamboo pole and put a FlyPast sign on the top, or get people to carry a copy the magazine under their arm, or wear a red bobble hat………or something.:)
I too was thinking this..which is why i picked the nose of the aircraft as its rather big people can be wandering down the other end near the wing. I think the idea of carying a copy of flypast somewhere obvious on you is a winner.
Suggestions?
^^ That sounds like a plan!
Haha, i think i should be easily reconisable.
looking at the weather i will be in a green coat and stripey scarf otherwise i shall get very cold or very wet LOL.
So 11:30 at the beau?

On UKAR penpusher said that it was too strong for the tigers and rapide. But the b-25 got up. So hopefully the wind might die-down over night.
I just cant wait to see the b-25 😀
As for a forum meet. Id be up for one as im travelling alone so it would be good to meet up with a few people.
Maybe infront of the TFC beau nose at 11:30?
Shame about the forecast-hope they’re wrong!
me too!
Winds looking abit strong as well 🙁
They look like they would need CLOSE supervision, as they seem to get more water on themselves than the aircraft. But I’m sure you’re up to it Tom.:D
Tim
:D:D
That has made my day 😀
He’ll have his work ‘cut out’!:)
😀
