I dont quite understand the question as you might have made a spelling or grammatical error but if ive thought about it right heres my answer.
The reason north weald has the security is to stop members of the general public driving across the airfield. They could cause a danger to there selfs, people on the airfield and aircraft. Airfields are very dangerous places and you dont want people driving up and down the runway for a laugh. Or generally causing a nuisance. Also there are lots of private buildings be it aviation related or not. North weald has a domestic side and an aviation side. The company directors donβt want people walking around the premises, and might what a decent rate if security depending on what they do. Also aircraft are very expensive things even small 2 seat Cessnaβs let alone spits and hunters. If members of the general public do get on to the airfield they could vandalise aircraft of there buildings or touch a sensitive part of the aircraft. Thatβs why thereβs such security at north weald and other uk airfields.
They do a good job down at north weald and generally the people going onto the airfield now how to move and drive around an airfield
Hope this is what you asked, if not just ignore me π

If she is grounded does anyone know whether she will be mothballed at Brunty or will they do as they said they would at the end of her flying carear (which was an estimated 10-15 years time) and place her in a museum,, IIRC correctly Duxford was mentioned at the time.
Good question, sadly i never got to see her. So id like one last flight π
Could she stay at brunti and like the rest of the brunti lot, taxi?
Again like some i didnt know him personaly but like all i learnt quite alot from les. Hes knowlege about the canberra was tremendous and there will be a hole that i doubt can ever be filled.
Its a sad day when someone with the passion as yourself is no longer there, you all feel closer like a tight knit family.
Lets hope the website stays running as a memory to les

Well you might very well find some buyers on here as quite a few members have cockpits, small colletions or whole aircraft and some are associated with a museum

What about a plain boring band-saw, so long as you have the right setting and blade…..
That depends on the size of the cut, You cant cut large things on a standard size band saw as you will hit the return side

Could you use some sort of electronic saw (like a hacksaw) this could quickly speed up the job but you might not be able to keep a straight line using it.
Ill have a think seeing as im at college in the engineering department.
Good luck
