Not to be an ass, but me personally coming from another country, you British does not know how lucky you are when it comes to airshows and all the different a/c types usually attending these shows. So even though the traffic may be a little bit bad on a Sunday afternoon and some of the vintage aircrafts didn’t appear, you should try having one or no airshow a year and see what that’s like. Maybe you will be a little bit more happy with what you get, traffic, parking and no Vulcan included. :rolleyes::D

True but i feel we need to make the most of the airshows we have, make it a day to rember from the minute you get in the car to the minute you get out.

Better car parking facilities and maybe less promises! In another thread i read that 30 years ago it was a supprise what came up at an airshow and people go to biggin expecting the vulcan and others and bget disapointed. If the organisers didnt say the vulcan will be there etc and it turned up it would be a welcome supprise.

Less publicity about the content and more focuse on the car parking This goes for all airshows

She should be as she’s in the safe hands of someone who cares. I know it can’t be economical but fair play to the owner for actually using it as a family transport. I met him at Abingdon a few years back nand was totally gobsmacked when he told me that.

I dont see why not, it good its actualy being used and loved. Take hangar 11 they dont just come out for displays there like a clasic car to the owner always out and about and doing whats best which is flying them 🙂
