    Very sad story indeed….

    Does any of the experts here know if it is possible to extricate yourself from any mk of ejector seats manually, with the still packed parachute still attached to the occupant? ie if you found yourself in a dead seat scenario at altitude, with a reasonably low enough airspeed, could you still get out? (ignoring the then hazards of airframe collision)

    Well WZ507’s seats arent live so its a case of tipping it upside and falling out to be honest if thats any help

    I cant believe after 3 attempts nothing happerned.

    Being in vintage jet ops my self it makes for terrible reading

    The Lasham example lacks certain parts like wingtips that the RAFM example has. To some grounding a Prentice isn’t a bad thing!

    I persoanly would rather see the airworthy example kept airworty, i knew a few people who were interested in it. And rather see the lasham example preserved in a museum.

    There’s sadly not enough flyers 🙁

    Just take your time. Enjoy training for your PPL and enjoy the hour building.
    I’m currently hour building from Cranfield, although at the moment due to funds (and economic climate) im in no rush to get the ATPL exams out of the way.

    I think thats the plan, go to uni get a back up. Gat a ppl, hour build and get ratings etc

    Its just finding the best route to finance it, i dont want to go to uni come out with loads of debt and find that i can afford to do my atpl :/
