In addition some people may not be aware of the damage that rain will cause to an aircraft travelling at speeds in excess of 250 knots.

Just look at the vampire leading edges! Not good šŸ™

    I’m not sure I see your problem…

…how is an aircraft in your garden going to affect your wife cooking your dinner, washing your clothes or cleaning the house? :diablo:

Just make sure theres room for the washing line….runs for cover :dev2:

With an apparent doubt over the appearance of WZ507
as well, and the diabolical weather forecast, the whole Yeovilton trip is getting more pointless, for us, by the day.

    Were going now šŸ˜‰
We have been working so hard to get things sorted soplease appreciate her šŸ™‚

Very sad news, im now starting to find im getting more and more involved with the pilots and aviation community and hearing about this is a big shock.
My thoughts and the thoughts of the rest of the VPG go out to the family and friends of the pilot.

    RIP!

And the obvious – minimal fast jets – didnt even see a Tornado this year! no Harrier, no Hawk, the only highlights being the Typhoon, and the Vampire which was fantastic.

    Thank you šŸ™‚

I personaly do understand your points, but its not as easy as it looks to put on such a display. We managed to speak to some of the show organisers and i take my hat off to them.
We had record crowds saturday so hopefully this will let them know that waddington isnt dead and buried and it can be brought back up to be a cracking little show.

Big thanks to them for hosting us šŸ™‚
