Oxcart,
It is a Chance Vought XC-142A Tilt Rotor experimental aircraft, I didnt get any close ups on this visit. So please see attached a picutre from my visit in 2007.
A link here also: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LTV_XC-142

Pagen,
Thanks for the details on the P-75, see below a pictures of the engine and drive train!

Beny,
Only 2 good ones, sorry I took over 100 of the XB-70. I will look at my old pictures from a previous visit and dig out the YF-12 ones I am sure it was not so packed in, anyway just for you….

ZRX61 when you say it is ‘Your’ Spitfire do you own it?
Pagen if you look at Part 1 there is a full size shot of the P-75, it is stunning, you have to see the transmission as the engine was mounted at the back!
Sea Fury Fan – Thanks for the kind comments there are lots more I will sort through them and post later

Hi all,
Despite the weather yet again a really succesful ‘Fest’. The North West team had a great time.
I would like to publically thank Bill, Martin, Howard and the rest of the team. Newark always make us feel really welcome and I am already planning for next year.
This year I changed tactics a little bit so no Tonkas! I decided to help the Twin Pin team get that ready and help Andy with his JP cockpit aswell as my Wessex panel
The Twin Pin brought something a little different and breaks the ‘ Its not ready yet’ thought process so I hope everyone enjoyed it. So many times people say they dont want to bring a cockpit because they want it to be perfect, I think it is great to see projects half way through and as Andy Blair found you get some many ‘I have one of those’ that it is a great opportunity to get parts and reference.
So nice to see everyone again! I will post a few pictures now and then some from my Dad of the presentations for the record.

Great thanks to all for the responses!
The panel is 90% complete just looking for the usual flying instruments now, height, speed, compass
See you all at the fest?
Si

Anon,
I have not yet had chance to reply to ‘Part 4’
As I was there at the time I can only agree, I have offered free help on a number of occasions including the NAHM membership list (265 members) which I offered to re-contact and see if people would be interested in a newsletter or voluntary hours, the response, nothing….
Let see what outside opions we get
