Max,
Thanks for the offer! I am not sure of the varient, I have been trawling the net and my Wessex reference book I canoot find this type. There is evidence on the square cut outs of where the lines were drawn in for the modification. Looking on later panels they had RADALT’s fitted bottom left and bottom right and on some a square cut out for a compass in the top middle.
Look forward to any help you can give
Tony,
Again thanks very much look forward to the help and pictures
Simon
Mikey,
Well done mate, fantastic! I know you had help with the strip down but you moved it on your own today (with Tommy’s crew) I wish I could have been there!
You saved it mate!!!!!

HS748 Sisyphus Saved
Hi rescue team,
A strange place to be emailing, although a couple of you were here last week, I am sat in the Holiday Inn J4 Heathrow watching (during daylight hours) Jumbo’s etc land, I wish I was there with you and please throw the usual abuse at me for not turning up!
The main point is the aircraft is saved and in the best hands, I know you have had lots of useful feedback from people who “would’nt have done it that way” or “Oh thats not how I would have done it” but you guys are there doing the do so well done.
Also good on you Speke boys for taking on the responsibility and a fine collection of airframes now, such a shame that there used to be a place on the other side of the Mersey where we could have built a fabulous collection worthy of any aviation collection but the people who saved the place are not welcome there now just the choosen few….
See you Saturday
Awesome stuff mate!
My F.2 is there but I think the FGR.2 will dominate it! I will be working on the F.3 sim tomorrow so will see you Friday morning!

Hi All,
In honour of the imminent and subsequent retirement of the Tornado F-3 I will be bringing both the F.2 nose and the F.3 sim body.
And as an aside once it is retired it becomes historic so I can flood this section full of Tonka pics hahahahah :diablo:

Hi R P Smith,
thanks for the reply on the engine, I noted your correction on the maker of the engine. I am not trying to be smart but the engine plate definatly says “Bristol Viper Engine” Mark No.102.
Any Ideas

Rest in Peace Les, Thanks for the support
I met Les at ‘Cockpitfest’, its when I owned Canberra nose section WJ676. He was so enthusiastic and for a couple of years he would always come over and say hello and tell me how good it looked.
Regretfully after selling the nose section I lost contact with Les but I will always remember his smile and encouragement
I hope he is really flying now..
Its A Tornado GR-1 stick top
