Excellent shots, thanks for posting!
Will these colours be used throughout the entire fleet, as I remember reading a while ago that they would use a variety of colours throughout the fleet (a la Braniff)?

These kind of companies hassle everyone on the electoral roll. Another culprit is MBNA.
Another interesting tidbit is that the longest 737’s today are about as long as the 707-120 and 720 series. And yet the 707 looks huge in comparison, must be because of the deeper fuselage and enormous wings…
The 739 is actually a whole 2 feet (0.61 metres) longer than the 720 was. Well written article and nice pictures.

But RAF Valley is at the back of beyond!!!
I can’t see it being of much use, except perhaps to people travelling to Holyhead to catch a ferry…… 😉
LOL – they’d be lucky when you could easily fly directly from CWL!!

I suppose the only alternative would be airfields in North East Wales (e.g. St Asaph), which are close to both LPL and MAN. 😀 I suppose the assembly will allow airlines to tender for the route?

So do Aer Lingus operate SNN-BOS and DUB-ORD for American or vice versa?
Good news as well!
I think AA codeshares on most of Aer Lingus’s Transatlantic routes at present: SNN-BOS-SNN is AAL7979/8; DUB-ORD-DUB is AAL7977/6.

That’s allright. What airline is CX? Is it Cathay Pacific?
Yes! :p Would love to see them back at MAN. They’ve been codesharing with BA for too long now!!
