    One thing I do remember was that all British airlines of the ’80s sold Parker pens with their logo stamped on them. I had a British Airtours one for ages.

    No, BAA closed all viewing decks about 1 year ago.

    Me too. Do any airlines still allow smoking (I’m guessing that a couple must still do)?

    Happened on an occasional but regular basis when I worked in a certain UK airline, including one I remember quite well when a fairly senior captain fell out of the open front catering door of a DC-9…

    Hmmm… DC-9, EMA, wonder who that could be 😉
