Their business plan can’t be too advanced if they haven’t already decided whether to fly to London and Brussels, or Orlando and New York.
Asking people may be a good idea, but a start-up with little or no publicity outside of the aircraft enthusiast arena conducting this type of survey seems a bit risky. Fans of LPL (and MAN-haters) are obviously going to vote for a service to New York, but whether it would be commercially viable to launch such a service is another matter.
Plus, Jet 2 was Yorkshire’s first low cost carrier, whereas the north west already has a number of services.
I agree that domestic routes would be a good idea, also London flights (although EU Jet are planning to fly to MAN and FR already fly to BLK).
Apparently they’re seeking up to 15 aircraft by the end of the year. If you click on the forums (http://www.nexusairways.com/forum/) you can vote on which routes they should launch. Not a great business strategy for a start-up airline in my opinion.
I like it too
Think I prefer the shorthaul aircraft in the new c/s and the A330s in the old c/s 🙂
Cool shots! Hoping to visit MAN again at some point this summer.
…and flavours (or should that be flavors?)
Great shots! The SV looks great in that light.
Great photos especially the LOT EMB-170, Eritrean 767, and Macedonian and Smart Wings 737s 🙂
Both seem all present and correct to me! Excellent links! Checked my last few BA flights to make sure!
Here we go, both pictures at Larnaca.
Nice pictures! I don’t have any TriStar pics unfortunately (I do have lots of those ground shots from overseas airports though!!).
I did manage to find a photo of CKT’s G-BBAE on the net, which I went on from MAN-FAO and then FAO-MAN one week later.
roast chicken
I went whale watching off the New England coast and got burnt despite it being cold out at sea. Saw a few whales too.
Cool! That probably also qualifies as my most exotic flight!
EWR (Newark) and LEI (Almeria) – the letters appear in order – is it simply that combinations commencing Nxx and Axx were all taken? Any ideas? Also, does anyone know why the likes of Spanair use ambiguous three letter codes (JKK, previously the more logical SPP)?
