just visited this site. Now, I’ve heard of trying to clock a car to make it look younger than it really is, but making a plane appear older than it really is?

    http://www.aviatorsale.com/aix2206/

Ryanair flogged its’ 14 remaining 732s for the bargain price of $10million ($714,286 per plane).

    The airline reportedly faces bankruptcy…

…but state aid is on hand (as ever in Italy)

Years ago I stayed in Las Galletas (literally “the biscuits” in Spanish), which was good for shots of the aircraft heading out to sea. It’s not too far from the airport and easily accessible (map attached), although Los Abrigos (“the coats” or “the anoraks” 😉 in Spanish) seems much better.

Maybe they thought Business travellers would prefer Manchester that Liverpool. From Manchester they get in flight service (free drinks) and actually fly into the main airport.

Air Berlin and HLX have got loco services from MAN to Germany pretty well covered.

GRX Airport looks worth a visit, and it’s a great city for a weekend away.

I think IB still do BCN-JFK, via MAD – DL is the only present non-stop BCN-USA service. Even that is seasonal (via MAD in winter)

That’s correct – A320 BCN-MAD then A346 MAD-JFK. A number of other transatlantic services to Latin America (e.g. BCN-MAD-EZE) use the same arrangement.
