It will be to those that don’t see the trailer.
I thought the team at the bottom of the league was the strongest? They have to support everyone else above them. 😀
Okay I’ll leave. :dev2:
Good night folks, I’m off to bed.

I don’t really like remakes, there not a patch on the originals. I suppose the appearance of the T-Rex will have everyone on the edge of their seats.
Now the Empire State building scene should be worth watching though. The question is will be biplanes be at legends? 😀 😀 😀
Sorry couldn’t resist.

Up beside us diesel is 92.9p per litre!
I thought diesel was cheaper to produce than petrol.

Hi Strombird,
K2793 was a Victoria V. It was converted to a Valentia in 1935.
K3526 was a Fairey Seal.
K3202 and K3222 were Avro Tutors.
Info from Air Britain RAF serials K1000-K9999.
I am very intrigued by the Hawkers and Gladiator with the large id letters. If the photos were taken at Hendon could they have been applied in order to make identification easier for the public?
I’ve seen similar photos with aircraft carrying large letters to identify them at displays in the 30’s, especially if they were new prototypes.

Hi Glyn,
Thanks for posting the phots, very interesting indeed.
I have never seen the Audax and Hart with the large fuselage id letters. Was the Hart with 600 Sqn instead of 60 Sqn? I only ask because in my RAF serials K1000-K9999 it only has 600 sqn for K2984 before it was SOC on 16/4/34.
Very interesting that 24 Sqn adn 60/600 Sqn used the same style of id letters.
Any more of the Hart family? Are these yours?
Alex
Hi,
I’ve just recently complete the story of the Mosquito Mk XVIII Tse-tse. This is for JDK’s MMP.
I am currently working on the Hawker Hart family of biplanes, again for MMP. My main stumbling block with these projects are finding the right photos. So if anyione can help……….. 😀
There are loads of possiblities just waiting to be published. What about the Wapiti, Anson, Vildebeest and Wellesley to name a few. Then there’s the unsung fighters that done a lot but didn’t receive much credit such as the Skua/Roc, Fulmar and Sea Hurricane.
I’ve done some in depth research into the Egyptian use of the Lancaster, Halifax and Stirling. I’ve even got some photos too. I’m also looking into the use of the Halifax and Lancaster by Pakistan, plus I have some details of Frances use of the Halifax post-war. This includes relief flight’s from France to Madagascar.
I am also considering writing something about the Gloster Javelin. So again if anyone can help with photos.

Hi Papa Lima,
I’m trying to get an idea of the general length, width and height of the FAA aircraft of the 50’s.
I know most of the info can be gleaned fron the ‘net, except perhaps the width of those aircraft that had folding wings. I also need to know the height of the hanger and size of the hanger lifts for HMS Ark Royal, the one commissioned in 1955.
I have a couple of ‘what if?’ modelling projects in mind. One of them will be the conversion of a RAF aircraft into a Sea version, complete with folding wings. I think the size of the hanger lifts will ultimately decide the outcome of this project.

Hi Papa Lima,
Thanks for your quick response. 🙂

Excellent photos, more Pioneers please. 😀

Excellent Eric. The Lanc is simply stunning set against the light blue sky.
Is that a VC on the nose? Does it commemorate a specific crew?
Alex
Excellent photos, thanks for sharing.
