Cracking shots

How many years has it been since two large flying boats have been seen in formation over the UK and have British and German ones ever been seen in formation.

Any idea who was flying the RNHF aircraft?

Lovely photos from what looks like a cracking day (you had the weather then).

WW is a wonderful place with a kitchen that produces superb Bacon Sarnies.

Poor old Taifun though he only seems to own one set of clothes (or at least thats all he appears to wear 😀 )

Cracking pictures in difficult conditions.

I woke up at 5.30am took one look at the weather outside and the forecast on TV, rolled over and went back to bed.

I’ve already been Kembled once this year 😀

I was seriously thinking about going to Yeovilton this morning. But when I woke up at 5.30 it was pouring with rain and the Wx whilst it wasnt too bad it wasnt really good either. That coupled with the mediocre line up put me off (was only really going for the Seas Hawk and Fury anyway and the wx early on when they were likely to be displaying didnt look good). That and the fact I would have had to put other things off made the decision easier.

The entrance fee wasnt one of the reasons I didnt go. £20 seems the standard entrance fee for a show nowadays.

I have to object most strongly to this thread. I am not, nor have I ever been, a Morris Dancer. This is because I have something called a “Life”.

No Melvis you have what is known as a “Rearwin” this totally precludes you ever having a “life”. 😉
