We tried an auto feeder, she just beat the crap out of it. Then killed a mouse out of frustration.

However the look on her face last week when the small furry thing she pounced on turned out not to be a mouse, but a Stoat 😀 😀

No brainer I’m afraid, Old warden wins every time. I always used to think Duxford had a certain magic about it. Then after 30 years away I re-discovered Old Warden.

Duxford was great (before they moved the display line) and is still good, but OW has magic.

It wont stop me going. Its a magical place and great fun.

I’m glad I saw that last flight as well.

That wouldn’t explain the whole BB crashing. I really dont care how the thread disappeared what I am getting annoyed about is the flakey old BB software keeps dying and Key arent communicating to us what they are doing about it.

As I said it doesn’t instill any faith in the company – to get subscriptions right etc – if they can’t keep a simple BB up and running.

Talking to a chap at Duxford at the weekend about the Beau, its not about money but Engineers, they have a severe lack of qualified Airframe Fitters to work on her. Oh and Props, no props no fly.

Wouldnt waste my money on the Vulcan, she’ll never fly (and If I am proved wrong I will be one of the happiest men alive. and yes I have already given money but I have since learnt the reasons that it will never happen)

If I had a Million it would be split between the Blenheim and Kev’s admirable idea re the veterans.

But keep me away from Karel Bos bacause I wouldnt be able to help myself 😀
