Ah ha, good to see you have joine the “race” 😀 You are getting the hang of the new toy.
Nice to see the Pup flying again.
Its simple
He had a routine which shows a brand new type it its best within stricty safety limits and it has been passed by the RAF.
Something (mechanical or Human) went wrong
As a result of a cool head and excellent training he flew the aircraft away from the problem.
After he flew off he aborted his display and after about 30 seconds of making sure the aircraft was all ok (it will tell him if it isnt) then said he was happy to continue if the FDC were happy, He didnt ask to continue. FDC decided no so he landed as soon as it was prudent to do so.
It was close and frightening but IT WASNT SHOWING OFF.
After discussions with the FDC the display was amended to teir satisfaction and with all parties in agreement. The display ws re-validated and flown faultlessley yesterday.
I really cant see what the problem is.
Mine is taken at the lowest point that I have him at. I kept shooting and if I knew how I could make quite an interesting gif of it,
the sink over such a small distance is colossal
It was!!!!!!
Thanks for the comments guys, more to follow after Sunday.
He was 25 ft off the ground at the bottom of a manoeuvre. A case of high alpha and high sink.
I thought I was photographing an accident.
He is over the grass, look at the ground just beneath the jet efflux
This low!!

Without wishing to be too dramiatic it was at least 25 feet above the runway. However how close to banging out he was we will never know, whatever I was sure I was taking photos of an accident.
Very scary. Pics (as ever) to follow. 😉
And 434 was coincidentally the number of people who got their meal before you!!! 😉
Tim
I am more concerned about the principle of the thing and bandwidth restrictions.
It would have been polite to ask if you could link my photograph first mate. 😉
I wish!!

I have tgo agree with the fat bloke in the yellow car, Considering the equipment, not bad at all.
Keep looking in from time to time, the same old loonies will be here. Except Snapper who will have been Sectioned by then of course.
