Whichever is the most convienient for you!

For my part it all depends what I am doing, if they are going on many forums then I host them on my webspace, if only this one then I upload them.

One thing to bear in mind is your bandwidth limits, you may exceed them if you host on webspace and cross post on many forums.

A rule of thumb is 700px wide and no more than 100kb (for the dial up users) however these arent hard and fast rules although I tend to keep to the 700px myself.

If you can host the vid clip on webspace it may be better to post a link to it. However it would be nice if you could tell us the file size.

The most important thing is post away, we can give you advice on the fly if you want.
