    It’s almost
as If I have a coke burning stove and your trying to sell me central heating!

Well if you need some I know a man who can 🙂

My point was every picture published in the press these days has been manipulated. Most of them quite considerably. Now I’m not saying I agree with it, just that its a fact of life.

There is still a place for film, but sadly most of todays retailers disagree.

PNK, very eerie. Have you got any more shots?

The comparison is unfair, Charles E Brown was the best aviation photographer ever. Period. Full Stop.

Digital manipulation is a fact, get used to it. I can honestly say that apart from the removal of dust spots and a minor bit of sharpening (nothing more than would have been done in a processing lab with film) I have only ever digitally altered one photo that I have posted on here. Getting the shot right first time is much more fun.

Try translating the language literally in the order the words are spoken. Yoda had it right “to dagoba we must go yes” or something like that.

Great shots by the way. And film isnt an age to be stuck in, its just another phtographic format… of course for archival purposes its the..SHUT UP FENCE 😀

Has anyone ever painted a Corsair as one of Pappy Boyingtons aircraft?

Kermit Weeks’ Lysander at Lakeland Airport in May 2003. Apologies for the quality, it was dark in the hangar and very bright outside and the door was open as it was being worked on.

Can anyone let me know if this has been transferred to the US Civil Register please.

If someone isn’t well is it not inappropriate, especially when the illness is manifestly self evident to contribute to that suffering.

    To whom are you referring?

We all know Daz is delusional (sorry Daz a cheap shot I know) and andrewman uses interesting subjects for photographs (even cheaper, sorry) but almost everyone else is normal. With the exception of Melvin that is.

No quarter asked for or given.

I think I know that John was aiming his comments to those that had ‘a dig’ at a certain individual in recent times

Forgot about that. Its open season on that. Sorry.

Ihave been the victim of some vicious character assassination recently. Then the buggers sat in my front room, drank my Scotch and said it to my face!!

I always try to the attack the arguement rather than the person. But I will not pander to people who should know better being idiots and under no circumstances will I ever be politically correct. A spade shall always be called a spade. I have no problem with agreeing to disagree.

You got any pictures you care to share?

Other UK flyer, dismantled with Kermit Weeks.

Not dismantled, last seen in one piece at Lakland Airport alongside his Tempest II. Not a flyer yet but it was leaking oil which is promising.

Possibly, it used to be pre 1950.
