Benyboy you are probably better keeping what you have and trying to increase your budget a bit more. Its also worth bearing in mind what storage media you currently use and going for one that uses the same type.

I’m not au-fait with the compact camers at the moment, I do have a canon IXUS 400 that is really good for city walks etc but the shutter lag on it precludes any real action shots. They key thing is to get as much bang for your bucks so go for as high a Megapixel Camera as you can. On-line shops will help you increase your spending power, but do try and avoid grey import sites as if anything goes wrong you may not be covered under warranty.

Why the Mustang before the Spit? because I saw a picture of a 2 seat Mustang before I saw a 2 seat Spit.
