Nighthawk
Thanks the one, thanks! I do believe that VintageATCO of this board used to provide ATC for it.
How does the saying go “a fool and his money are soon parted”
Very ambitious flying programme – especially some of the modern USAF stuff. How likely do you think it is that they’ll agree?
Probably the same way a small village fete in Suffolk(?) used to get flypasts by everything from an F-4 to a B-52, (all controlled by air traffic from the village hall roof) a lot of front!! If you dont ask you dont get 😉
Good luck with the airshow chaps
Oh b0ll0cks 🙂
I forgot to add, we sat in the Pub over a nice lunch and slagged Melvin off, just like old times really 😀

The UK is a Monachy if you dont like it go live in a Republic.

As Robbo and others have said, a superb day out, nice lunch followed by a trip round the museum. A cracking little goldmine of a place, I would recommend it to any one in the area.
It’s a bit like a Tardis, I don’t know how they fit it all in!
Gannet on loan from the FAAM (sans barriers)
The Herald G-APWA, nice and warm inside too!
The last remaining bit of Miles Marathon G-AMEW (Legends was mentioned)
The wonderful restoration of a Martinet, there is a lot of new wood in there but they are making something that doesn’t exist at the moment.
The Miles Student (or whats left of it).
Finally, some Magister pilots appear a bit wooden 🙂
Controversial….??????
A very big thank you to Aero51 for organising lunch and letting us loose round your museum.
Oops sorry freudian slip. I’ll not edit it, it looks so much better they way wot I rote it 🙂
Will we appear to be splif 50:50 here. No bad thing.
IMHO I think the scheme is superb and its nice that it is painted in accurate colours, however, I wouldnt have been screaming for her to be painted in these colours if thay had chosen a famous Bomber scheme. I would be more concerned if she was being left to rot outside.
And this is Historic why? Off to Modern Mil with you.
