In my opinion she was doing this more to save herself from looking after her son for the rest of her life…
Frances Inglis was prevented from even seeing her son, let alone caring from him, following an earlier unsuccessful attempt on his life so I doubt very much if this was a motive for his killing. She is already 57 years old and has I believe another son so the burden of caring for her disabled son, Tom, would fall on others, and primarily the state.
This is an unimaginable decision for any parent to have to make and Frances Inglis must have known that she would face a murder trial and would probably be jailed and yet she still decided that this was the best course of action.

If these ‘sceptics’ had taken a photo on a beach, in a shopping mall, or on a farm and two kid they hadn’t noticed mysteriously appeared in the background they’d have thought nothing of it…
…if it happens in a castle, church or graveyard? EEEK! GHOSTS!!! 😮

I’ve worked on the odd Subaru and always liked them…..excellent engineering…..but sometimes a bit ‘strange’! 😀

…if you ever decide to get rid (which I doubt :diablo:) can I have first dibs? :p
Sorry, best I can do is third dibs! 😀
The last time it moved under its own power was at an ‘autotest’ in 1993. Terrible thing to do to a rally-car; I was trying to convert my last set of Yokohama tyres into that blue smoke that they seemed to be made from…..when unfortunately the LSD snatched and I broke a driveshaft (‘LSD snatched’ my ****! It was simple abuse really.) 😮
No, I’ll never sell it; in fact thinking about it I still only own half of it. What do you reckon I should charge for 20 years garaging?

This was the first car I parted with any money for; me and a friend bought it in 1985 for £1000, I think.
Originally a 1959 850cc but only the shell was original and when we bought it the engine was 1380cc. :diablo:
Photograph taken last time it moved on the public roads (under tow with no brakes!); I was moving house…..it was moving garages.
I was scanning all the paperwork for it the other day and was horrified to find the engine hadn’t run for ten years!
Where does the time go?

Fair comment…..I suppose I deserved that!
I’m still a little surprised that it hasn’t been mentioned on General Discussion.
(No offence intended by the way…..it is very difficult to strike the right ‘tone’ with the written word. :o)

I didn’t see that thread…..they’re a compassionate lot over there (your post excepted)…
…the small number of posts seem to be primarily concerned about how military kit performs in a new scenario!
