By the looks of it it’s not an actual problem with the aircraft itself but the GE engines because it states that BA with Rolls Royce engines hasn’t had any problems.

Seems like the press want associate any issue with the aircraft itself rather than something that is, in some ways, outside Boeing’s control

Any child killer/child rapist should be killed in Public with live TV for those that can’t get to the event.

I know this sounds bad but I can just picture ITV and Sky battling it out for the rights to that. Sky would put it on pay-per-view though and charge £40 for it. Would be like the boxing. 3 hours of build up and about 30 seconds of real action.

I can understand your possible paranoia but I don’t think there’s anything to worry about.

The big problem is that you had the major incident with the explosive decompression and this was seen all over the world and drew attention to Qantas. The problem is that every little fault, every little incident after that would be magnified a million times. For example not long after the decompression, there was the problem with the nose gear door coming off causing severe vibration.

Had it occured on another carrier it would probably have been ignored. But because it was Qantas, people automatically assumed the airline was unsafe.

Personally I just think they’ve had a bad run.

    Hey guys,

The game is this Sunday. Kick off is at 6pm UK time. My guess is that they won’t leave til the following morning.

Both teams have a bye week the following week so they won’t need to rush back.
