    hey

i tried to find what you asked… but i was unlucky, however I did manage to find this website

    http://www.aerotransport.org

where it is partly free and partly membership required…. this can give you a list of all aircraft types (past and present) plus their registration and some relevant information operated by nearly all airlines, including some of the past ones.

what you need to do is once you get to the website find the “search database” on the left hand side menu and from there you will know what to do…

dont know if it worths to register.. I wouldnt as i dont have the appropriate independent finances yet 🙂

Also, another interesting website that I found was

    http://www.thirtythousandfeet.com

it worth to surf in it

it would be nicer or consolating if instead of that red DOT that reminds me of “TARGET ME” thing, to replace it with the Shamrock but within a circle…. and also change the c/s to green like I saw in one of the pics

Dont know if this is clever idea, i would appreciate comments

I ve checked with Boeing’s website regarding the different tail heights of the B737 NG’s. Interestingly enough B737-700 to B737-900 have the same tail height 12.5m while the B737-600 has a taller tail height 12.6m.

I have tried to find similar informatio from Airbus website to contrast Boeing B737NG’s with Airbus A320 family, but Airbus website wasnt helpfull.

    Hope this helps

P.S Btw flying with B737’s is an awesome experience. Good reliable aircraft. You can feel the ‘heat’ while they are rotating plus you can experience a ‘boink’ landing (or unless its their pilots). Flying with A320’s though, you feel like king, I call them as ‘posh-aircrafts’

    Boeing website being http://www.boeing.com

Whats wrong with the current one???? it is relatively nice and modern… but if they want to change it i would prefer the first one.. even though it is too silverish as the previous guy mentioned…. and too redish… they need to modify it a bit, perhaps change the colour of the belly to any other colour than silver

Regarding the current Air France c/s.. it is nice.. whats wrong with it? it is simple.. white and white…. it just the airplanes needs washing and painting..
    🙂

Clearly the old BA scheme was far better than the current one. It gave a sense of elegance. However a livery I would like to see again is this one on the pic… great livery for its time

British Airways changed their minds to many decisions.

We saw the B747-400Lite example, they first wanted a Lite version of B747-400, later they said…. “No thank you”..

They said they wanted to start expanding operations from LGW, they did up to a stage. BAA thought it would be ideal to build a new satellite.. work was about to begin but …. BA changed their mind.. “Sorry, we are abonding LGW, we go back to LHR which is better for us” and they began to reduce services giving way to Easyjet and Ryanair to start operations from their as slots that were previously owned by BA were released…. and forcing BAA to abondon the construction of the satellite.

They said they would create a Eurohub based from Birmingham and they would operate B737’s Birmingham Airport built a terminal building capable of handling these aircraft with peers to join the main terminal with the aircraft.. “Oupsis, sorry, we decide to bring smaller aircrafts” as a result, the peers even though built, are not used since cannot go further lower to reach the door of the airport.

They said they would create a LCC airline to fight Easyjet.. they made it and just were the airline started to make profits they sold it to 3i…. and the rest is history.

They said they wanted to change their livery by making different tail pictures…… later they decided to change back to the more modern “union jack” since their previous decision was not welcomed by their passengers….

Why did BA make all these “change of mind” tactics? Couldnt they realise that they could not afford any mistakes, not now that the airline industry is liberilased???

    Kind Regards

to all of you who have responded

    Dear Friends

i would like to express my graditute for replying to my request and from the various resources that you have diverted to me regarding the Cyprus Airways Trident fleet. I was and I am still facinated by the Tridents, which as one of our friends stated they are far better than the B727’s since they have a better exotic look. But, I believe the idea behind B727 was originated from Trident (please correct me if this is wrong).

I envy you Skyjet who you had the previledge to visit the disserted airport. That is a dream I want to fullfill. I tried to reach UN to allow me to enter the premises of the Airport, but I heared no reply. Guess, I didnt look for the right persons.

Once again people, I thank you all for your replies.

    Regards
    Elias Elia
