I agree, most projects of this type take a minimum of 5 years in my experience.
Sometimes though, that’s half the fun.

Would like to learn more about your projects.

Hi WB556, no panel. My collecting philosophy was to get the seat, the sticktop and a suitable helmet for each seat I decided to collect.
For the T33 I have also added a late 1940’s throttle and rudder pedals.
On reflection adding a panel would probably have been a good idea, but at the time they were of little interest to me.

I like the early American seats, and they make a nice change from the Martin Baker ones I have worked on in the past.

But as in many areas of this hobby, parts are the problem, and it has taken me 8 years to get this far and it’s still not quite complete, although I have to overcome my laziness and finnish the job now !

    T33 etc

Hi y’all. I am new to this forum, and learning as I go along. I was interested in many of the cockpit and seat posts. I have a very small collection of seats/control grips/helmets etc and was pleased to see T33 and F4 panels etc.
I have a t33 seat, nearly finished, and always interested in swaps etc.

My primary areas of interest are WW2 8th AF, 1950’s USAF/USN and 1991 Gulf War aviation.
