Fantastic musician, so many classic both with Dire Straits and solo. Local Hero is such an iconic track (especially since i’m a Geordie :diablo:)

Today (19/10/10) was a very successful day at NEAM, a great deal of progress was made on Whirlwind XN258.

The majority of the airframe has now been painted in either Sea Blue (don’t quote me on that) or white undercoat in preparation for Dayglow. She looks pretty bloody good even in this unfinished state so I really can’t wait to see her finished.

The Aviation Academy is going to continue re-skinning certain areas of the airframe in the near future.

We now expect to complete the aircraft by around christmas time! 😀
