I feel like i’m tempting fate here, but if the MR2 is now out of service being replaced by the MR4, what happened to 3? Or is that AEW3?

I still can’t wrap my head round the decision to retire the MR2 leaving us with no aircraft capable of fulfilling the role until the MR4 comes in. how long until that comes in?

I’m off on holiday to Scotland on Thursday and on Friday when i’m crossing the Firth of Clyde I might take my binos and keep an eye out for Russian subs :diablo:

MW2….im always getting lag on my XBL account too

what makes me angry about that game is the americans who come on and start arguments with us brits about WW2…why cant they just let it rest….ive lost count of the number of times they have had a go at me saying that they saved us and we would of lost if it wasnt for them, im not getting into it on here but its annoying…and their insults extend as far as (in a really bad attempt at british accents) tea and crumpets

This is in the wrong thread for me. On PSN me and my mates love it when one of these idiots comes online. I know you shouldn’t rise to it but when you get someone who would struggle to place Britain on a map trying to be smart about “we saved your Brit backsides in WW2” coming up against me and my mates who all like a good argument and we end up shooting them down in flames. It never gets boring from my point of view.:diablo:

Back to the topic, my Product Design teacher forgetting how wide the vacum former was and so now i’ve had to cut about 3/4s of an inch off each wing of the seaplane i’m making for an AS Level kids bathtoy project. I had to laugh otherwise I would have swore!

Managed to get a pic which i’ve forgotten to upload and now can’t as i’m on my PS3. I’m so pleased I wasn’t very well this morning and my mam took me into 6th form 10minutes late so I got to see it.

On another note, how many airframes are up for tender? Would cockpit sections be available?

That is bizarre! I went to the shop on my estate about 0855 this morning and a Nimrod MR2 passed directly overhead at couple of thousand feet, it seemed VERY low. Kept on a straight heading out to sea all the time I saw it . I live about 5miles SE of Newcastle Upon Tyne. Anyone have an idea where it was heading?

As much as i’m loathed to see the demise of a Vulcan, if its going to happen it needs to happen soon before the condition worsens. If she is not being cared for and she is for the chop she isn’t going to be much use for all the other Vulcans.
