Broon the buffoon
Completely agree! Almost as much of a bumbling buffoon as Boris Johnson but without the popularity
I turn 18 in just under 4months (not that I’m counting :diablo:) and although it’s only the local elections in May I know in my area that there’s an Independent in at the moment. Being in the North East it was at one time a Labour seat in the locals. That was until the local councillors went against residents on a large issue of planning permission for Green Belt. People power came out in force and voted something like 4 Labour councillors out overnight. So from that experience and given the last 13 years, Labour certainly won’t be getting my first vote!

I’ve never understood how they justify the fuel prices. By all means put the duty on it (rather they didnt mind) but then to tax the combined total of the price and duty is absurd! Taking us for a bunch of simpletons.
I remember the hell on after it went through £1 per litre and I’ll hazard a guess it’ll be comfortably over £1.50 by the time of the Olympics – and that’s if we’re lucky.

Your both right. It was big news the other week but the usual line is if we have 6″ or so in 2 days while London has 1/3 of an inch in the same period “Oh no the capital is snowed under and has ground to a standstill.
Then again I remember Rogue Traders describing Birmingham as being in the far north! We chance do we have in good old Newcastle!
