For the UK these are my favourite and worst based on my personal opinion and experience.

    Favourite:

Belfast City – Especially now after the recent refurbishment this airport is neat and smart. It is adequate for the requirement and has been in my experience pleasurable to use.

Cork – Again as above. Smart, modern and clean. Infrastructure is good for the current demand.

    Worst:

Luton – Just didn’t like it!

Shannon – Appalling in every respect. A very dated, unpleasant terminal building with a distinct lack of facilities.

Walney Airfield (Barrow-in-furness) turn up 15 mins before flight show the

Cockerhoop, you’re also forgetting the private limousine transfer from reception to β€˜checkin’ πŸ˜‰

I think for once, tommyinyork has created a thread that isn’t a total waste of space!!!

(apologises to all those who live/work in Bristol!).

Don’t worry we’re used to it! Could always be worse…… Could be from a particular northern city *cough cough*

I have flown over both Orlando and Tampa many times and took lots of snaps both times.

Then you have no excuse not to post them here then πŸ˜‰

Cracking stuff as always Dan. Perhaps you can teach me a thing or two on Saturday with a beer at a very famous aviation beach bar…..

HA – Cracking stuff Andy. I managed to stay in that hotel last year although for some reason Cairo was full of American gamblers whilst I was there…. Strange πŸ˜‰

I’ll be adding some of my unlevel and soft photos tomorrow!

I am sure you’ve got plenty to choose from….

Back across the pond this week, as we invite contributions of you 3 best US Airways pictures

Just an idea but as these threads are proving to be very popular, could we (from future threads) condense it down to 2 or possibly just 1 photo from each contributor?

Apparently the LBA ALC has now gone to MME! All the while LBA has been open…

When travelling to LBA, you don’t need an excuse to divert πŸ˜‰

Every Wednesday we’ll pick a different airline, and photographers will be invited to upload their single best shot of that airline, to create a shared gallery.

So which airline this week? Anyone want to start a new thread?

N808FR – Frontier’s A318 which went into storage (I believe) back in April of this year was delivered to the carrier in Feb 2007 making her just over two years old.

I think if you do some research you will find there are some airplanes less than 10 years old in the desert, even some A330’s.

    Even A318’s

Paul, have you ever flown onboard these Gulf Air A340’s you mention?
