This is the one in the Malta museum last week,,,

I’ll try and find out when I go back in a couple of months. Its a really good little museum, what they have done with the Spit and Hurricane is quite amazing.
Here’s another then….

That was handy, its just started…ta
I’m a bit half and half about it. It was an interesting mix of contempory and archive film, apparently they used WW2 era German lenses to get the right mix. The film couldn’t make its mind up whether to be a film or documentary which gave it disjointed feel. Was interesting to see the BBMF Lanc pre mid upper turret. I would put the film as an interesting take on a soldiers experience, shame my Dad passed away as he went in in Sword beach and would have probably experienced the same sort of things portrayed in the film.
Petition done. Good luck, although after all your amazing work luck should have nothing to do with it.
Some action clip here..

In pre production terms 2 years is not a long time. They have the script and some FSM Lancs, they can wait for a couple of years until Peter Jackson is ready. The casting of Gibson will be interesting.
I would imagine some price tag would have to be put on the old girl for insurance purposes and an asset value will be required for taxation purposes.
The whole magazine is an exellent read, some fascinating articles ,esp the one on Churchill.
Blimey that could be at Legends in a couple of years!.
I used to visit once a day, today is my first visit for a couple of months.
TIGHAR, the gift that keeps taking. As RG’s reputation is now pretty well trashed in the aviation world he will be finding it harder to find “partners” to work with him.
