Not as bad as I was expecting but no chance of getting in it the air for Leg……
She looks fantastic, I can’t wait to see her in the metal.
And will we be seeing the ‘rad at War and Peace?. I know of one which has recently changed hands at over 100k!!!, buy a big lock!.
I’ve ordered my tickets, no Tiger running this year due to engine cooling problems but plenty of other stuff.
Thanks, I took them on a cheap point and shoot digi and converted to b&w on the computer. I have been trying to find a way of taking digi WW2 style pics using the camera rather than messing about in photoshop, this little Vivitar, (tenner off a mate) seems to do the job.
Apparently they have enough length if they incorporate the field at the end.
What was that all about???
That hedge hopping Buchon…looks about 12 feet off the deck!!!

On the website there is a pic of the tailplane during construction and behind it what looks like the fuselage of an FW190 marked red 13, is it a flugwerk one?
It ws was great fun, you can’t beat the Daleks.
How do you go about proving that the photo is yours? I guess if you have a neg its easy enough, but a digital file?
I was there in the New Year, the War museum at Valetta is good if smallish, the Air Museum is very good, the Spit and Hurri look good and there’s lots of other stuff to look at.Non aviation, there’s a great Classic car Museum at Bubbigba which is probably one of the best non military museums iI have been to. The Toy Musem in Valletta is very small but worth the couple of euros for the 20 mins it will take you. If you like motorbikes, there is a meeting at Golden Bay every Sunday, get some nice classic stuff turn up, get there 10am, all finishes about noon. Classic cars also meet Sun am at Quawra prom, Buggiba.
Buses are cheap and reliable, make the most of the old ones as they will be replaced this year. Taxis cost about the same as England.Beer is cheaper.
My fave Spit.
