I saw it in the cinema at the RAF museum at their BoB weekend last year. Was a great atmosphere as everyone knew the lines!!
I can’t wait to see the D version they are building.
I would have thought the 190 would be easier to land on a carrier than a 109 with its narrow track undercart and tendency to nose over.
Wonderful workmanship…….its going to be a beauty.
Great website……:D

The series will be a lasting tribute to these wonderful actors and writers, I met Bill Pertwee a few years ago and found him a most charming and interesting man, in complete opposite to his character!.

Looks odd with that Spitfire style spinner!
The reason I used 100LL in my drag bike rather than pump fuel was that it enabled me to run a much higher compression ratio….15-1 instead of the 10.5-1 you could get with the pump stuff. More compression means more power.
When I was drag racing a rather large capacity, high compression Kawasaki I used to run it on 100LL which I presume is the same fuel.
What kind of money are we talking about here?. Say a Spit…is it thousands or tens of thousands? Any idea what the costs would be for Sally B or the Vulcan?.
