I love those Spitfire pics….timeless.
I’ve got a couple of the After the Battle Stanford Tuck logbooks, a really interesting and well done item.
Thats a lot of extra weight to have hanging off the front.
What about weight difference between the 2 engines and the effect on C of G?.
Thats a very intersting prject, I wish them luck. A really well put together website. I remember the name of one of the chaps involved, Russel Savory from my motorbike racing days, he was a very highy respected race engine builder and tuning guru.
Heres a flying Stuka..

If they can make the film accurate but also relevant to todays youngsters who would never watch an old black and white film it will be a worthwhile project.
I saw her fly once at Duxford, wonderful, a really different sound to a Buchon. Looking at her at the museum a couple of weeks ago I came to mind the image of a caged eagle.
I went to the RAF museum yesterday and took the opportunity to see the film “BoB” in its digitally remastered form on the the big screen in their cinema…wonderful!. Lest we forget.
Doesn’t seem to need much doing to it, just an engine ,some wings another stuff. I reckon it will go for over £200k.
I had a look at your website, that is an amazing job you are doing there. I have a couple of old glass photo plates taken when DC visited Kingston with BlueBird, one shows him signing books and another the boat on a trailer, I’ll hunt them out and see if I can copy them on a scanner.
