The world biggest overstatement of the word ‘complete’

I know he is regarded as, how shall I put it ? “a bit of character” but I wonder if the owner is aware that his aeroplane is on e bay, I think this has spoof and ‘phish’ written all over it.
Seller and first bidder one and the same ? who could possibly say 😮

Anyway I’m not going to bid now seeing that it is not complete, when I got it home how would I stop it 😀

Once the Italians stop flying these soon and the Austrians stop operating the Saab Drakens that’ll be the end of all the real aeroplanes in Europe, apart from the Mig-21’s still around in the former eastern bloc airforces inventories of course.

So what is actually left flying (type wise) as the last of the ‘real men’s aeroplanes’ begin to take their final bow’s ? What are the prospects for any sort of “farewell tours” ?
Nice pic’s by the way !

A light in so many lives and on so many levels has gone out.

    To paraphrase a famous quote.
Never in the field of popular music have so many owed so much, to one man

If you wish to leave a tribute an online book of condolence is on BBC Radio Suffolk on the following link.

“Women make up your mind for once!”

I’m sorry to have to say Stuart (and apologies to the ladies present) but you almost answer your own question in the title of your thread.
Resign yourself to it old son, that day will never come 😀

Hi Scott and welcome to the Forum.

OOOOhhhh dear……….. have you started one here
    Personally,
    1) yes I think there is a very good chance she will take to the air again.
    2) as to quite when ? well past experience indicates that TVOC is probably the very and final last place ever, ever, ever, to seek up to date information. They are far too important ( Corporate ) to actually talk to the people at the bottom of the pile ( those who will actually pay on the gate to see her fly again )
    3) my advice is to now run away and hide as the pro’s and con’s debate may well re-ignite :diablo:

    Good luck !
    Phil.

Doubt if you will get Glasgow in fact any UK live feeds, any such website would probably break some daft restrictions in the UK Wireless Telegraphy Act or infringe the copyright of the CAA who operate the licence for that part of the radio spectrum.

    Flood states;
This sort of thing would be illegal in Britain, of course.
Quite correct. Whilst owning an all singing all dancing scanner is perfectly legal, actually turning it on and tuning it to anything outside of 88 to 108 Mhz is technically outside the law in the UK. Mad isnt it.

Have a google for “live air traffic control” and you will find plenty in the USA plus Holland, Australia, Hong Kong etc.
