I was there and enjoyed it inspite of the weather.
I have read the thread on pprune, and can kind of see where the complaints are coming from, however I have never been before so do not have anything to compare against. One of the main complaits seems to have been about the Harrier display, which was slightly uninteresting, but the weather was terrible, and I would rather have seen stuff fly, rather than just sit on the tarmac.
As I understood it there were over 20 aircraft expected for the static park, but due to the weather very few managed to make it.
The two people I was with also enjoyed it. The mock battle at the end was very well done and seemed to catch the attention of the whole crowd around me! The Red Arrows crew were also very good and walked the flight line talking to kids and signing autographs.

I can certainly let you have my pictures of PR19. I have sent you a PM with my email address in. If you drop me an email I will figure out some way to get the pictures to you.
Cheers

Seeing as you were all so nice here are a few more….

Thanks,
I have loads more, but am posting these from my Parents, where I am lacking Photoshop, and GIMP is sooo much slower at doing anything than photoshop I think it will have to wait till I get home tomorrow evening to process many more.
Was there anything anybody really wants to see more of? I guess the Sea Hawk & Sea Fury…. I shall see what I can do.
The Sea Hawk & Sea Fury did a formation break then did short solo displays.
Cheers

I am afraid not :(. I was too busy watching the cars most of the time.
Jonathan
That would be taking things a little too far 🙂

Hi,
I have some pictures from yesterdays air displays. I will try and post them this evening. The serials are visible in the photos, but I have not had time to go through them yet.
Jonathan
Thanks for the comments, I have been through my pics again tonight and have a few more. The Spitfire is the same picture as posted above, but has had slightly imporved post processing…
Cheers

Merlin70,
Where were you standing? I was directly infront of the yellow Magister, and was wearing a Ferrari Baseball cap..
Jonathan
Thanks,
I really must come and introduce myself to all you regulars… Maybe next time.

Kermits Sunderland….
I think they were omani Jags, but with RAF pilots.

This is one of a series, all taken from footage shot in oman. They were originally posted by somebody on pprune. I am sure a search on there would yield more.
This would be the thread in question

Yup,
I really should go more often. I only live about 1 mile away.
Jonathan
