NATO has a requirement for all member states to police their own airspace. So if the Danes want helo’s, they will have buy these in addition to fighters.

Your failure to comrehand simple text doesn’t surprise me.
The option is up to the Palestinains. Despite it’s addictiveness, killing Jews
is not anyones birth right. No Attacki the Jewi no bombi back, Capish?
If you don’t understand why killing Jews is not acceptable, perhaps you
    should ban yourself.

Yes, i really am stupid, am i not. I bet you want to kill stupid people as well. Do you often have images of blod and murder in your head ?

It is time for you to seek help.

So far i agree with you on almost everything. Here as were i have a different
opinion that my upset or shock you. I don’t think the solution to the katyusha
or Qassems fired at Israel by terrorist is surgical strikes, SF raids or UAV
guided … whatever. The solution is similar to what Churchil did in response
to the London bombing by the NAzis, it’s what King Hussein did when his
country was attacked by the PLO. Yes, i’m talking about massive
bombardment of civilians area as a response to bombing of Israeli civilians.
Israel attempt to avoid civilians population only make the world demonize it
further when there are civilian casulties and Israel deternce has almost gone.
What happened last week in Beit Hannon, despite the horrors should be the
norm for each single rocket fired at Israel, the Palestinians will still control
their own destiny by NOT attempting to murder Jews.

So here you finally reveal yourself; Mass murder of sivilians.

Moderators, is it time for a ban ?

Exactly my point, Norway and other civilized nations have no responsibility for the doings of Israel and Hesbolla, especially since Israel has been hostile to UN forces for more than 30 years.

Or to quote Lou Reed; “there are problems in these times, but oh, none of them are mine” 😎

Not according to the Israeli government, which reckons that the Jewish population was a small minority (the best information is from the censuses paid for by Sir Moses Montefiore – the 1839 one found 6408 Jews, or about 2-3% of the population), & that Palestine was about as well populated as the rest of the Levant.

I was once accused of having fallen for Arab propaganda when I quoted official Israeli estimates of the Jewish & Arab populations of what was then Palestine in the early 20th century. Ah well.

Good of you to correct Impi’s version of the history of Palestine. The Israeli claim to the land is only founded i the bible, and since few of us belive in it anymore it is rather irelevant.

However, my intrest is not to choose side in the conflict, but rather to point out that Israel has a 30 year history in attacking UN peace forces, and that i do not belive that these “incidents” are happening by accident.

A good friend of mine made several tours to the Norwegian UNIFIL forces, and can verify this very well.

So in my humble opinion: Pull out and leave BOTH parties to their own devices.

These mock attacks are clearly planned. Their intent is to have the UN forces getting used to not shooting at them, giving the Israelis the few important secconds they need, when they decide to “send a message” to the international comunity.

Problem with this particular incident is the wording of UN resolution 1701, point 11, about the scope of the UNIFIL mission and what the French-EU Empire interprets into it. As Israel I’d never agreed to such a wording.

Question is, why did Mdm. Alliot-Marie makes such a non-incident public.
There was another one, involving some tanks, about two weeks ago.

UNIFIL (and the Lebanese govt, part of which Hizbollah is) is clearly not capable, or even willing of enforcing the disarmament of Hizbollah, and so – as others here already pointed out, and as the IDF Genstaff says – it’s only a question of time till it starts again.

And what is sure NOT needed is the French in the brawl being yet another party in the conflict. I mean, what is that for? UN forces with MBT and ADS.

Agreed, let Israel handle its own problems. No need for France, and others to get their hands dirty down there.

Gentlemen, you are confusing yourselves by making your questions and ansvers to complicated.

Ask yourselves: Did, or did not the Lend Lease programe change the outcome of the war ?

As moast of us agree, the war was won on the eastern front, so ansver this question and you know if the Soviets won alone, or if they had help.

My opinion is that the Soviets were capable of winning alone.

    My opinion:

    1. The Soviets defeated Germany singlehandedly.

    2. The Allied invasion in Normandie prevented the Soviets from taking the
whole of Europe. (not a small thing in my opinion)

Why dont they simply put something in the same orbit, but under the satelite. This can be little more than debris, and be a very cost effective way of preventing spying.

I think you’re highly funny. All your posts don’t make sense and are total bias.

Dont worry, posts like these add a little colour on a rainy day 😉
